The first night we were in Washington, we went to the closest town for dinner...Roslyn, WA. It's a town with a population of less than 1000 and really has an old west feel. It was very cute and obviously a tourist destination, but we didn't realize until the next day the exact reason.
Roslyn was the filming location for the 1990s show Northern Exposure. That show takes place in the fictitious town of Cicely, Alaksa, but was filmed in Roslyn.
