Dressember

As you all (probably) know, Kayleigh and are participating in Dressember - a fashion challenge that encouraged participants to wear dresses (or ties) every day in December to raise awareness and funds in the fight against human trafficking. I participated last year, and this year Kayleigh expressed an interest in joining me.

It has been such a great experience to do this together - especially to see Kayleigh realize that she can use her voice to make a difference in this world.

We put together a couple videos so far (for facebook), to explain why we are doing this and invite others to support us. I thought I'd share them here as well as facebook.

 

We reached and surpassed our $100 goal very quickly. So we made another video....



And we just reached our $800 goal. I guess tomorrow we'll be wearing costume dresses!
