Pottery Lessons

I'm not sure when or how it happened, but school has migrated from our designated desks, to the family room. It's cozy and comfortable and it seems to be working well.

Do you see the red mug in the corner of the photo below? Sydney made it!

We connected with another family here and we are exchanging violin lessons for art studio time. I teach Grace violin every week, and my girls get to use Ivy's (Grace's mom) studio for an hour every other week. Everyone is loving the arrangement.

Sydney threw this mug on the pottery wheel the very first week we were there.

While Sydney was getting time on the wheel, Kayleigh and I made these whistles. They are really loud!

This isn't the best photo, but Kayleigh made this really cool vase. She wanted it to be a bit funky and uneven and she squished it down a bit and it's so cool.

Earlier this week they were able to make a few more items...they even had extra time in the studio because I ended up leaving them there while I went to get my finger stitched up!
