Around the Yard

Now that the snow is gone, it's time to get some yard work done! We ordered 5 tons of stone and spruced up several areas around the house.

This is what it looked like before...

And this is after...we more than doubled the width of stone around most of the house.

We also cut a walkway in the hot tub area...before you could only get in and out of this area through the family room inside the house. 

The rhubarb is coming up and growing so well. It's been fascinating to watch it unfold.

It's also been fun to see what bulbs come up and what shrubs area blooming. We have several different varieties of daffodils and hyacinths.

And we have a pretty Royal Star Magnolia

And the quail are frequent visitors in our yard. They are fun to watch. We have even seen a pheasant a couple times.
