On our way home from the museum I took a slight detour to check out an area that is known for amazing wildflower displays. I had no idea it would be as beautiful as it was! We were quite unprepared to hike, so we walked a bit, took a few photos and then headed home.
When I got home I did a little research and realized there were several hikes through this area - from a 3 mile loop to an 8 mile loop. Kayleigh and I decided to head back the next day to explore and enjoy the wildflowers more the next day.
