We recently discovered a walking path all along the river....in all our years of coming to Hood River, we had never known this was here. So we took Grandma and Grandpa Hall for a walk...

Then we grabbed lunch at a new brewery near the waterfront. Many people flock to Hood River in the summer for kite boarding and windsurfing, so the waterfront keeps developing with more restaurants and  things to do.

On Tuesday we headed toward Mt. Hood for a hike to Tamanawas Falls. The forest is my happy place and I loved seeing all the wildflowers and greenery.
