Here are some pictures from the weekend...I'd like to say we had an uneventful weekend, but that's not the case. Poor little Kayleigh was quite sick on Saturday. Both Kevin and I commented on how we had never seen her that lethargic (except when she was in the hospital). Well, after her nap, Kevin was changing her diaper and noticed that her hands and feet were as purple and gray as could be. It was so strange. Needless to say, with this new strange development and her behavior all day, we rushed her to the ER. Since her breathing was fine, they assessed her and then made us wait. Thankfully, we only had to wait an hour before she was seen by a doctor. They did a very thorough exam and by this time her feet and hands were back to normal. Apparantly some kids respond this way to stress and/or illness. I do notice that after a bath her hands and feet are a little purplish and this is supposedly common for kids who react this way. So I guess we overreacted, but her hands and feet did look like they were going to fall off at any moment!
