While living here this past year, we had the privilege of meeting a wonderful Mennonite couple who raise llamas. It was also neat that they went to Eastern Mennonite University, where Kevin and I met. I, especially connected with Mrs. Kennell and we had the opportunity to visit with her several times throughout the year. We went again this past week to their house and the girls got "up close and personal" with a couple llamas.
These next few pictures were taken at our local town park...you've seen pics from the playground before, but we took some time to walk over to the little river that runs through town. You can cross this bridge and go to a little island. The girls were pretending to fish with their sticks.
I rounded up some boxes yesterday, and even got one packed! Now I only have 12 thousand more to do!
Lovely shots of the children! Lots of kids come visit our llamas here in Minnesota, and the llamas are always gentle and soft (but a bit stubborn sometimes).
