One Last Visit to Prairie Meadows

Yesterday we visited the residents of Prairie Meadows one last time. We did our second intergenerational story time with the Library. It really is such a neat time for the different generations to mingle. I let Kayleigh take her stroller and baby doll and the residents seemed to enjoy watching her push it around. She pushed it all over the room, in and out of the rows of residents, without any hesitation. After a couple stories, we made "May baskets" and passed them out to the residents. Go to the library's blog site for lots more pictures....the link is in the side column under "Other Blogs I Read".

Sydney making her May basket and then giving it to Dorothy....a resident.

On a different note, the girls and I went "box hunting" today and struck gold at the local grocery store! Now I have to get busy putting things in the boxes....I did pack one box today - that makes 2 total. I think I'll reward myself with a cookie and a diet Coke!
