Simplify, Simplify, Simplify!

I am overwhelmed at how much stuff we have as a household of 4! I pride myself on not accumulating too much stuff, but as I'm beginning to pack once again, I'm realizing how badly I have failed! For those of you who know me well, you know that I am always striving to live more simply. I realize that this means much more than having less stuff, but that is a big part of it. As we get ready to move yet again, I am striving to really weed out what we do not need anymore. We are having a huge garage sale this week and I am so proud of Kevin and myself for letting go of our stuff. If only it were as easy for Sydney to grasp the concept of letting go of some of her toys! We went through all of her stuffed animals (she has at least 30 and to her credit she does play with them every day) and she picked out 1 that she was willing to get rid of! I guess it's a start. In the almost 12 years of marriage, this will be our 11th move....6 of those being out of state. Moving so often does keep down on the clutter, but it's still amazing to me how much we manage to accumulate in the first place.
