Happy Fourth of July

The girls were lounging on the couch yesterday, while I was hurriedly getting ready for dinner company....check out Kayleigh's pose! What a goof!

Firecracker 5K Run Results....
Well...I really don't know how well I did. This was a "fun run" on wooded ski trails and unless you are right behind someone, you can easily lose the people you are following. The trail was not marked very well and sure enough....I would up following some people that were lost! We came across others that were lost as well, but I think we ended up being the most lost! Oh well...I did cross the finish line in less than 30 minutes. It was a good run...LOTS of hills so it was more challenging than my normal runs. Sydney was a great cheerleader yelling, "Go Mommy, Go!" "Go fast, Mommy!" "You are going to win, Mommy!" And then at the end she asked if I ran out of energy and that's why I got lost.

Now we are off to the International Food Festival and the Parade!
