Always Be Thankful

Always Be Thankful.....Colossians 3:15

This week is VBS for us Foley girls. Sydney and Kayleigh are participating and I am a "crew leader" with a great group of kids. There were four kids in my crew today...two boys (fraternal twins) and two girls (identical twins)!! What are the odds of that?!?!

Anyway, today's memory verse was "Always be thankful"....Colossians 3:15. Every day the kids get a challenge and one of the choices was to go for a walk around the yard and thank God for 5 things. I got Sydney started by saying "I'm thankful for the flowers".... We walked the whole yard and then the neighborhood and this was her list (all unprompted):

ROCKS
ANTHILLS
BUGS
TREES
GRASS
DOGS
MAILBOXES
HOUSES
CARS
BUTTERFLIES
STICKS
CLOUDS
WIND
FLOWERS
WEEDS!!!
WATER AND PUDDLES
HOSES AND SPRINKLERS

Tonight, I am thankful for a fun, loving, creative 3 1/2 year old!!!
