Day 2 - Jesus gives us the power to be HELPFUL!!

Romans 12:13
"When God's people are in need, be ready to help them."

Every day I ask Sydney what she learned at Bible school and she insists that she didn't learn anything! It's so funny how serious she is. But when I probe her with questions, I find that she really did pay attention and learn something. The Bible story yesterday was about when Jesus healed the blind man by rubbing mud in his eyes....you can imagine the impression this made on a 3 year old...

As we were getting ready to go to Bible school this morning, we were talking about how Sydney can help me, to fulfill her daily challenge. She was very adamant about NOT helping mommy. So as we were leaving, I heard her and Kayleigh "talking"...

Kayleigh: Trying to pull her baby stroller up the stairs and whining

Sydney: "Do you need help with that stroller, Kayleigh? I will help you. Did you hear that mommy...I'm helping Kayleigh with her stroller. But I'm not helping you!"
