WHY?!?!

My 3 year old is always asking us WHY? and now it's my turn!

WHY do the kids play best, by themselves, when it's time to go somewhere or take a nap? Take now for instance....they are playing so well together and it's 30 minutes PAST naptime. Why can't they play like this AFTER their naps?

Or earlier today....they were so cute. Sydney was "reading" to Kayleigh and it was adorable. And then I had to ruin it by asking if they were ready to go for a walk. Earlier Sydney asked if we could go for a walk to our secret path and I said yes....well, while they were waiting for me, they busied themselves with books. When I asked if they were ready for the walk, Sydney said "You ruined my day mommy. I was having so much fun reading books!"

Or yesterday....I had to pull them from the house for story time at the library.

WHY?!?!
