Christmas Survey

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Wrapping paper...it's more fun to open!

2. Real tree or Artificial?
Artificial...we tried a real tree when we were first married, but my eyes were a little runny all December.

3. When do you put up the tree?

I like to put it up on December 1st...this year we put it up on Nov. 30th because it was a Sunday and we were all home.

4. When do you take the tree down?
It depends on our travel plans...if we are travelling, I like to come home to an undecorated house. We are having company this year right after Christmas so I will leave it up through New Year's.

5. Do you like eggnog?
I don't know.

6. Favorite gift received as a child?
My pot-bellied teddy bear. And my cheerleading outfit and pom poms. And my dog Benson (was he a Christmas gift?)

7. Hardest person to buy for?
Well...if I tell you I might make that person feel bad!

8. Easiest person to buy for?
My mom...she likes anything and everything!

9. Nativity set?
I have two...the Willow tree set (although I'd like to add a few more pieces to it) and the Fisher Price set. I tried to win this one because I think it would be cool to start a little "collection" of Nativity sets.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards?
Both

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
I can't think of any.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie?
When I was younger I loved "The Christmas Story"

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
Whenever I see something that would work for someone...often this is in the summer.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas Present?
Sure.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
It used to be my Grandma's assortment of cookies...she's no longer able to bake.

16. Lights on the tree?
Does anyone NOT put lights on their tree? Of course we have lights on our tree...all white.

17. Favorite Christmas song?
Oh...I have so many! Evie's "Come on Ring Those Bells"....anything by Amy Grant.... this year my new favorite album is "Snow" by Go Fish.

18. Do you travel or stay home at Christmas?
This year we are staying home!

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's?
No

20. Angel on the tree top or a star?
Neither...a butterfly

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?
Christmas morning

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year?
I love this time of year so I'm not annoyed.

23. What theme or color are you using?
What?!?! Am I supposed to have a theme or color other than Christmas?

24. Favorite for Christmas dinner.
Ham...but Kevin prefers Turkey.

25. What do you want for Christmas this year?
Oh..there are lots of little things I always want. But I don't need anything. My true hearts desire is that people sponsor kids through Compassion...I'm not just saying that, either. It's what I really want.
