Right now Kayleigh is fascinated with playing the violin. She will go get it out of the closet and bring it to me so she can play. It's so cute...she'll walk all over the house carrying it, looking for me, all the while saying, "mommy, play violin now with me?" How can I say no?
So tonight, during one of our many violin sessions, she asked me to get mine out too so I could play with her. We played ABCs, Twinkle and Jingle Bells. I'm sure you wish you could have been there to see it.
She also likes to put the bow down, pluck the strings and say "mommy...what's this?" She'll keep asking until I say "That's called pizzicato"...she then tries to repeat that word and it comes out sounding like "sippitaco".
I remember Sydney being this curious about the violin at exactly the same age. In fact, that's when Syd got the little violin...2 years ago. Now Syd has no interest because, after all, she already knows how to play the violin.
awesome pictures!!! What a cutie, just like her sister (and Mommy)

I guess since I was never around too many violins in my life, I just stopped and starred at your girl just holding it imagining what it sounds like. I love the sound of a violin, but to see a small little girl holding one......it warms my heart.
