Oregon Coast

On Sunday we drove over to the Oregon Coast. Our first destination was Cannon beach where we saw Haystack Rock.


The water was very cold...this is me, standing in the water, my feet numb!


And this is Haystack Rock









As we got closer to the big rock, we saw lots of people milling around and realized there were lots of tide pools they were looking at. It was crowded and pretty well protected so we didn't get to do too much exploring. But we saw several large starfish and tons of sea cucumbers and other anemones.
