BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

This house is for sale....

Don't recognize it?

It's our house. The one we bought barely a year ago.

Remember that trip to OREGON we took last month?

You're smart...I'll let you connect the dots!

Kevin has been offered and accepted a wonderful job opportunity. Really too good to pass up.

And so this will be our 11th move (7th state) in 13 years of marriage. Let's just say I don't have a lot of clutter!

We are amazed at how God has been preparing this opportunity for our family, and although it's on the opposite side of the country than we intended to live, we are excited. A little apprehensive, but also excited.

It's all lining up. Our house goes on the market in the next day or two and we are praying for a buyer to snatch it up quickly!

In anticipation of the move, we listed Kevin's car on CraigsList...already sold! About 3 months earlier than we were hoping, but it sold. I guess he'll get some bike riding in this summer!

Not only do I get to continue my role with Compassion in Oregon, I get to fly out there in a week or so to meet other area advocates and attend a leadership retreat with them! (Remember back in February when I tried to go to Ohio but got snowed in?)

Like I said...it's amazing to see God's hand at work in this situation and in our lives.

And Kevin - well, he's going to be Director of Toxicology and Chemistry at his new place of employment...one of 16 pathologists. This is why he went to school for 12 years! Way to go Kevin!!

So we move again. Laugh if you want...just be sure to write our new address in pencil! My dad advised us to buy a camper instead of a house this time!

If you are itching to see the UP before we leave, hurry up. We're out of here in September.

Oh you are so going to love Oregon and you get a change of scenery and hopefully not so much snow, they get a lot in Oregon but it doesn't seem to last as long as it has for you in the UP, maybe you just got lucky and this was a snowy year while you guys lived there! LOL!

  6. SO sorry I haven't emailed you back. I realized that when I saw this.

You guys are going to have a good time there I know! I know it's got to be hard to pack up and move again, but you guys are following your heart and God--never a bad thing! I have to say though, I was a bit sad for a second when you said you were moving, but then I realized our relationship wouldn't be any different, no matter where you lived! haha!

    Congrats on the new job!
