Picnic Day

For our final day of Crazy Fun Girl's Week, we had Picnic Day! The idea of this was that we would eat every meal as a picnic. Originally I had planned for us to go get donuts and go to a park for breakfast, but the girls said they preferred to eat "real food" at home - fine with me! And so we spread out a blanket in our backyard and had homemade cinnamon toast sticks.

The girls are wearing their Library summer reading t-shirts.

I forgot to take a picture of our lunch picnic. We met our friends at a park and then we all went to the nursing home to play violin. These particular friends of ours take lessons and we met them through our homeschool co-op. They are also Compassion sponsors, so we connect on many levels!

For our evening picnic we decided to utilize our upstairs balcony. The girls were looking down to the driveway, so I rad out and snapped their picture.

It was a fun week and we are all tired! Maybe tomorrow can be "Rest Day".
