Oneota Gorge

We spent most of the weekend inside, working on the new house. We are putting in wood flooring in the family room and it's looking beautiful. I can honestly say "we" because I did help.

Anyway, we wrapped it up early today so we could get out for a short hike to "refuel" before the work week. We've been wanting to do this short hike in the Oneota Gorge (a smaller gorge off the Columbia River Gorge) and today seemed like a good day to do it. You have to wade through quite a bit of water, sometimes waist deep, if you want to get back to the waterfall. The water was numbingly cold, but we had fun.

Here's a little video - because waterfalls are much more beautiful to see in action.
