We had a very rainy weekend here. After church and lunch, we headed east to check out the Bonneville Dam on the Columbia River. We've driven by it many times, but have never gone into the visitor center until today. We were able to see a few fish through the fish ladder viewing area.
Then we went for a short hike around the bottom of Beacon Rock over in Washington. It started pouring on us and we got a little wet by the end!
We found a couple of these lava tubes (we think) at the base of the rock. Kevin and the girls went in to explore. They didn't go too far back...just far enough to be cool.
It sounds like you had a great weekend. As Syd would say, rainy days are very cozy!
