Narnia has a new friend....Scaly
Sydney is now the proud owner of 2 anoles
It was fun to watch them "meet"....there was quite a bit of action in the cage, and then they calmed down and checked each other out.
Narnia's dulap (the red flap under his neck) came out and he would bob his head up and down as if talking to Scaly.
After checking each other out, they set off to be the boring lizards they are.
Now Narnia is hanging out on the heating pad, and Scaly is really dark brown.
Nice to meet you Scaly! Did Scaly come from the store or the backyard? And will Scaly and Narnia multiply? I love the picture of Syd blurred with the lizards - very cool!

ReplyDeleteScaly came from the pet store. Sydney is praying Scaly and Narnia will multiply - her plan is to take the eggs and sell them back to the pet store.
I KNOW right?! That would be neat if they did have baby lizards!
ReplyDeleteIf they do we'll send one to Oliver. I think an anole would make a good teething toy. Soft, chewy, a little texture...
ReplyDeleteoh gross Jill! Poor guy wouldn't have a chance between two cats and a baby! Maybe we can adopt him/her from afar and send money to Syd to care for it for us. Or start a breeding program for her... lol
