We went to bed with a winter storm warning looming over our heads. There has been much talk and buzz and excitement about the storm - talk of school being cancelled, etc.
We did wake up to a blanket of white....but it wasn't very thick and it melted by 10 am.
Oh yeah...schools were closed! I'm sure there were hundreds of excited kiddos making miniature snowmen in their yards, all over Portland this morning.
