Sunday Fun

We headed to a park after church, to hang out and eat a picnic lunch. We saw this very cool ring around the sun...

and the kids had fun playing in this tree.

Then tonight we headed back to church for the youth group's cake auction. They are raising money for their summer camps. There were so many good looking cakes to bid on. Unfortunately, the turn out wasn't so good. There just weren't enough bidders and we ended up with 5 cakes! Kayleigh won the white one in the cake walk. Then the two chocolate ones were actually separate auctions, but the man who won the first one donated it back into the auction and they just included it in ours. (it's full of minty goodness!)

We put most of this in the freezer. Kevin will take the rice crispy bars to work and we are having guests for dinner tomorrow, so we are hoping they are hungry for cake!
