We went camping last night (in case you didn't guess from the s'mores picture). Between last night and today, we had some fantastic views of Mt. Hood. I took quite a few pictures, from different sides so you can see what it looked like.
This is the view we normally see....from Portland and as we drive through Government Camp.
This is a view from the east side - looking west at the mountain.
And this is a view from the north, looking south.
We hiked to Tamanawas Falls today, before heading home. It was a beautiful hike, along a mountain stream.
And the falls were quite beautiful. We didn't know what to expect and when we came around the corner, we all said, "Wow!"
