Canning Tomatoes

While Kevin was hiking Mt. Adams, I set out on a bit of an adventure myself.

I had all these tomatoes and didn't know what to do with them so I decided to give canning a try.

A violin student of mine loaned me her canning pot and tools.

I scored, blanched, peeled, cored, seeded and diced....

Finally after 3 hours of working, I got two whole jars of spaghetti sauce!!

Not quite the yield I was looking for, but I was successful.
