We had so much fun rafting last weekend that we jumped at the chance to go again. A wonderful couple in our church has their own boat and we had asked if they would consider taking us and a friend who was in town visiting. They agreed and invited a young couple from our church and we set out for another day of rafting on the Deschutes River.
We all went down the river - Ed, Carol, Joe, Jenny, Kevin, Sydney, Kayleigh and I. When we got to the takeout spot, we decided to go for another run. Carol, Syd and Kay stayed with the van so we could hit the rapids hard and they stopped to take pictures of us along the way. On the second run, Kevin guided the boat.
This picture is blurry, but we hit Cyclops straight on and the boat kind of buckled a bit. Jenny fell backward into the boat and Kevin fell forward a bit. We all stayed in the boat, but we all got quite wet. You can't even see the front of the boat in this picture...
looks like a lot of fun!!!!
