Kevin and the girls went hiking today. I (mom) decided to stay home and had 6 glorious hours of alone time. I didn't really have anything pressing I needed to do, just felt like having the house to myself.
They set off (in the rain) to Herman Creek - a hike we've done before.
When we were on this trail last February, we built this shelter/fort. Kevin and the girls visited the area and found it was still there.
They hiked to the waterfall (farther than we hiked last Feb).

and caught a crayfish...
