Weekend Camping - Day 3

Sydney woke up with some serious bed head....

The sunlight on the lake in the morning was beautiful.

The mosquitoes were out in full force and Kayleigh was prepared.

Then we headed back over McKenzie pass and had breakfast at Dee Wright Observatory. Here's a close up of Mt. Washington.

And here's a close up of North and Middle Sisters

And this is what it really looked like - Mt. Washington in the background with a huge area of rocks formed from lava flow 300,000 years ago.

Looking down to the parking lot from the observatory. That's me crossing the street.

Sisters (the girls and the mountains)

  1. Jill - I love keeping up with your family - thanks so much for sharing with us! Your camping trip looked like it was lots of fun & beautiful weather! It was fun for me to see your pictures of places I have actually seen in person! But I enjoy the pictures of your cute girls the most!
