We've just gotten back from our most adventurous camping trip ever. We were invited to join our pastor and others from our church on their annual hunting/camping excursion. But this was not an ordinary camping trip.
After driving 6 hours east, to Enterprise, OR, we boarded a 6 seater plane. There were 14 of us going on this trip. Our pastor and 3 others rode horses in and the rest of us took turns flying in on this little plane. We also had to fly our gear in, so we all pitched in to pay for the flights.
They were short flights....15 minutes one way. The flight was also a fantastic way to see the canyons. As usual, I took a ridiculous amount of pictures. I won't bore you with all of them, but I still posted quite a bit.
This is part of the gang waiting with some of our stuff.
And this is little miss Audrey - the youngest camper. She is the pastor's granddaughter, and her daddy is our youth pastor.
Kay in the back seat of the plane.
She fell asleep shortly after take off and slept through the flight.
Our view...
And this was just before we landed...if you look closely you can see 4 of the horses coming up to camp. There were 6 horses total.
awesome!!! can't wait to see more
