This was our home for the weekend - a big tent we borrowed from our church. A little more durable and a little bigger for an extended weekend camping trip.
The other ladies slept in this monster. It's quite large and we would all take our lawn chairs in at night to eat or just sit and talk. Due to the dryness, campfires were prohibited, so there was no sitting around the campfire at night.
Because this was actually a hunting trip for everyone else, they all woke up at 5:30 am to go out. Kevin joined them the first morning and the girls and I stayed at camp with baby Audrey.
When Kevin got back, our family set off for a hike to explore the area a bit.
Our group had 6 horses. Later in the day, we got to ride them down to the water trough. The girls loved it and I decided that I'm not really a horse person at all. As a little girl I loved riding horses, but I found it uncomfortable and a little bit scary. These particular horses, however, are not the best trained so it was a little unnerving.
This is our youth pastor, Steve, asleep with his daughter, Audrey. He is married to our pastor's daughter, Jacqui.
Here are the girls, out for a walk with Jeanette, our pastor's wife.
Sunset on the second evening....
Looks like a great weekend! Horseback riding- cool!
