Meet Gandalf

Over the weekend we managed to kill all our fish. 

How?

Well, we cleaned the fish tanks! Apparently, the fish did not like that. The next morning we woke up to 4 out of 5 fish dead. And by nighttime, the final fish was gone.

Neither Sydney nor Kayleigh were very upset. In fact, Kayleigh told me that she had always wanted to wake up and find one dead. But she didn't think she would wake up to find that 3 of her 4 fish were dead.

So yesterday Kevin took them to Petco. Sydney has been saving her money for a leopard gecko. The only  stipulation was that the fish would have to be gone. Now was her chance!

Meet Gandalf, the leopard gecko....

Kayleigh bought 3 more fish....Marshmallow, graham cracker and chocolate. Unfortunately they did not like their new home and have already died. (yes, all 3 of them). Again, Kay wasn't too sad. She said, "I'm done with fish."
