My girls are growing up so quickly and that means we are going through violins quickly.
Today Sydney got a new violin. It's so beautiful and we all fell in love with it. It looks beautiful and it sounds beautiful! We like it so much that we ordered one for Kayleigh, too, because she's also ready for the next size.

I realized that we had a bunch of violins in our possession and it would be the only day we had this many. (We have to send two of them back to the violin shop as trade-ins). So I had a little fun with the camera. Pictured below are my instruments....my good violin, my viola and the violin I got to take with me on trips (like to Mexico or to meet Compassion kids).

And lined up from smallest to biggest....the tiny one on the far left is just a toy, but Kayleigh wanted it in the picture.
We had fun taking lots of pictures, as you can see. Then it was time for Sydney to "get to know" her new friend. She's named it The Dragon.

ReplyDeleteHow exciting!!!! I remember those days when a new violin came to our house. Syd, your playing is incredible!!! I too would love to have more videos of violin playing from all 3 Foley girls!!!
