More From Sunriver

One of the reasons we love Sunriver is because there are miles and miles of bike trails to walk, run or bike. The house we usually stay at doesn't have bikes, but this one did! We ended up renting Kayleigh a bike because, well...she just seemed a little too big for this one.

The Deschutes River runs through Sunriver, as does the Sun river (which is really small compared to the Deschutes). The Deschutes is what we raft in the summer. Anyway, the bike paths go along the rivers and we always stop. Inevitably, if there is a log, Sydney will walk out on it.

We saw lots of these guys poking their heads up from the ground.

We stopped at the stables to see some ponies and horse. Kayleigh has a thing for horses (reminds me of my own horse obsession when I was her age).

On Mother's day the girls made me breakfast and then we set off on our bikes again.
