The kids are divided into multi-level groups called crews. I am a crew leader and this is my group. We are called "Crimson Crowns" (we named ourselves because our coat of arms sign was a red crown).
We start off as a big group with singing and skits. Then we break up into our crews and rotate through 4 classes - Epic Bible stories, Imagination Station, King's Kitchen (snack) and Tournament Games. Then we regroup for more singing and the missions presentation.

For the second year in a row, I have the privilege of presenting the mission portion of our VBS. Last year we raised money for mosquito nets and this year we are raising money for safe water filters. I love doing this and love coming up with creative ways to get the kids involved and overall more aware.
If you are interested, you can read all about my daily presentations over at Compassion Family. Each night I've had 5-10 minutes to present, so I've had to come up with lots of creative ideas to make it different and interesting each night.
