Horses, Violins and Sunflowers

Last Sunday was our annual all church picnic. I hardly saw the girls all evening as they were down with the horses the whole time.

Sydney took her turn in the dunk tank.

Kevin got her.

On Wednesday, all my students joined me for a concert at the local nursing home. We go every month, but I have three students who usually don't join us because of school. It was great to have them all there. We played several selections with harmony and we sounded like a little orchestra.

This is my favorite time of year because of the sunflowers. I planted a lot this year (from last year's seeds) and they are gorgeous. I imagine this coming week will be the peak for them as many are ready to bloom.
