Our Weekend

My how the time flies...another week, another month has come and gone. How can it be that we are almost in October? 

Anyway, Friday night I took Kevin away for the night as a late birthday gift. The girls spent the night at some friend's house (friends from church) and we headed into Portland. 

My garden is still lovely...lots of black-eyed susans, marigolds, zinnias and sunflowers still blooming.

On Saturday, after picking up the girls, we headed into the Gorge for a hike. We chose a pretty ambitious hike - one we've done a couple times before.
