We went for a short, easy hike on Sunday. Really it was just a 1 mile walk down an old road along the Columbia River. You'll see from the pics that it was beautiful with all the leaves fallen.
After our walk we went to the Apple Festival in Hood River. We've gone most years and every year there is a HUGE pumpkin that has been carved. One year we managed to watch the guy carve some of it. The pumpkin is so big that each side has a different carving.
The river is so very low and we walked out into the middle of it.
