I'm supposed to run a 9 mile race on Sunday, but it's also supposed to rain so I don't know if I'll follow through with the race. I don't particularly like running in the rain at 7:30 am, up a notorious Portland hill.
Anyway, I think I'm ready for the 1/2 marathon in April. I still have more than a month, but I'm confident I can do it (as long as I don't get injured in the next 5-6 weeks).
We had a busier than normal weekend, and finally got out for a family hike on Monday. It was perfect weather - sunny and 70. Unfortunately, the trail we wanted to hike was closed so we took an alternate trail. Then we headed to Hood River for a bit.
Since it hasn't been raining much, the girls have found a different use for their new umbrellas. They jump off benches or garbage cans and let the air catch the umbrella and open up.
Also, if you want a wheelbarrow ride, come on over!

It's so nice to see flowers and grass and spring!!! We still have a lot of snow-it's slowly melting, but it will be a while before it's all gone.So I'm really appreciating your beautiful photos and scenery!
ReplyDeleteGlad the girls are getting so many different uses out of their umbrellas - looks like fun! They're so clever and creative-I love to watch their imaginations take over. Sweet sweet!
