Several years ago the girls and enjoyed the stories of Ramona by Beverly Cleary. Recently, the girls have read these one their own and also read the Henry Huggins series. The other day we were near the Beverly Cleary Statue Park in Portland, so we stopped to see the characters. I had heard about this park, but we had never been.
