This cross is fashioned with a “woven” motif, after St. Brigid’s woven cross. St. Brigid , Patroness of Ireland (around 453-525), is known for her wisdom and generosity to the poor. She is the most revered female saint of Ireland. Tradition says that her cross was woven from rushes to illustrate the significance of Christianity to a dying, pagan chieftain, who then embraced Christianity before his death. Her feast day is celebrated on February 1.
It's a bit geeky - I know - but it's fun. It's giving the girls new reasons to practice and it's giving Kevin and I a common goal/project to work on (good for our marriage).
Kevin has been quite busy booking gigs at wineries (for the week the girls are at camp, mostly) and I've been busy getting music ready.
This past week we played at our local Farmer's Market and we seem to be a big hit.

Love the name!! Love your sound!! Love the whole idea!! Of course, love the musicians!! Can Kevin book a gig in WNY while you're here? I know I can get a big audience for you!
