Halloween

This year for Halloween we did something a little different. The girls and their two friends (who are also sisters) have been taking turns writing plays. Angelina wrote a play that called for Sydney to be a dragon and Kayleigh to be a hawk. 

We invited the Utt family over for pizza, a play and trick-or-treating. The girls had fun putting on their play for us and then we headed out to gather candy from the neighbors. Unfortunately it was raining the whole time and we only lasted about 30 minutes before we were all soaked through.

Both Abby and Angelina (the friends) changed into other costumes, but Kayleigh and Sydney wore their costumes (which they made themselves).

The girls all changed into dry costumes and then headed back out for another 10 minutes of trick-or-treating...Sydney put on the firebird costume and I snapped a few pics.
