The great eclipse has come and gone here on the west coast. Although we weren't in the path of totality, we had a 99.2% coverage. It was weird how the light diminished and the temperature cooled significantly.
I put the camera on manual settings and then took photos periodically. It didn't get quite as dark as the darkest photo shows, but that's how my camera interpreted it with the settings I had chosen.
30 minutes before totality
10 minutes before totality
5 minutes before totality
totality
5 minutes after totality
10 minutes before totality
15 minutes after totality
The most interesting thing we noticed was that even with the sun 99% covered, you still had enough light to see - we thought it would get darker than it did.
So cool We got to see it too!!!
ReplyDeleteSo interesting! It was a very cool national, natural event.People were so excited! We had about 75% coverage. In 7 years, Buffalo will be in the path of totality, so make your travel plans now!
