Father's Day

For Father's Day, we boarded the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler for a sight seeing cruise on the Columbia River. It was fun to see the river and area from a different perspective - especially this part of the river. 

There were several kite boarders and wind surfers out on the river....this is a very popular sport in this area due to the wind we get. This guy below is a local "hot shot" and came right up to the boat to do some tricks.

Both Sydney and Kayleigh got the opportunity to drive/steer the boat a bit.

Native Americans are still allowed to fish for salmon and sturgeon off these platforms. We passed several in this one area so I'm assuming it's a great spot to catch fish. Although no one was out on them so it must not be the right time of year.
