Waterfall Hike

We went for a short hike today and it consisted mostly of seeing different waterfalls. I think we saw four different ones. Our intent was to hike the loop, but the trail got a little too steep for our comfort zone of hiking with little ones, so we turned around.

This waterfall was "Hole in the Wall" waterfall...named because it comes from a hole in the wall as you can see in the picture.

We had a few good views of the gorge and Columbia River. I think the view from the top would have been outstanding, but as I said before, it just got too steep.

This was another waterfall we came across.

We saw many of these guys...

These are Starvation Creek falls...this was about the best view you could get of them.

Check out these tree roots!

After our hike we headed on to Hood River. We like going there in the fall and visiting the many fruit orchards and farms. We were in need of a couple pumpkins and found a place where we could pick our own.
